Description

The intent of this notice is to assist PEO STRI in conducting market research to identify potential sources to provide Training Products for the OneSAF Objective System (OOS). This effort is being considered for considered as Small Business set aside. Background: The OOS was developed as a composable, scaleable next generation CGF capable of representing friendly forces ranging in size from a few entities (individual combatant) to a battalion of entities (individual combatants, tanks, logistic elements, etc... for a battalion). It will also represent enemy forces and noncombatant entities at a level of detail and functionality in balance with that of the friendly forces. OneSAF supports the Training, Exercise, Military Operations (TEMO); Advanced Concepts and Requirements (ACR); and Research, Development and Acquisition (RDA) domains for a Semi-Automated Forces generation system. Description The objective of this effort is to develop training products that support user and instructor training for the OOS operation and user roles. This effort will also include the establishment of a help desk capability to provide support and address user issues. Training products must be capable of training users at varying levels (untrained through instructor) of proficiency using textual, tutorial and interactive methodologies, in classrooms, on-line, and embedded as part of OOS software. The product(s) should maximize the feasibility and usability implementation in terms of performance, efficiency, commonality of components, and the use of open systems within the current OOS architectural process.
