- Provide materials, labor, tools, and equipment necessary to complete lead paint abatement, painting and repairs to the poultry house, scratch shed and carriage house at Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve, Strong City, Kansas. Alternate #1: lead paint abatement, painting and repairs to the outhouse and curing room. Alternate #2: lead paint abatement, painting and repairs to the icehouse. NAICS code 562910. This is a "full and open competition" award which will be made in accordance with Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The RFQ with attachments will be issued electronically on website http://www.nbc.gov on or about August 5, 2005. No hard copies will be mailed or issued. An award will be based on price and past performance. The Davis Bacon Act will apply. Prospective offerors must register on the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website http://www.ccr.gov in order to receive awards from federal agencies.
