- NOUN: Pressure Container, 900 Cubic Inch; IAW Drawing Number MAT-A-D2064 and Statement of Work. The Pressure Containers are sample containers that are used to collect air samples using the Atmospheric Research Equipment system. The Government plans to issue a 3 year requirements contract with the following BEQs: Basic Year - 286 ea; 1st Yr Option - 216 ea; 2nd Yr Option - 216 ea. Required delivery shall be 50 units 180 days after receipt of order and then 50 units every 30 days thereafter until complete. The contractor shall incur all costs to manufacture the pressure containers to meet the spcifications outlined in AF Drawing MAT-A-D2064 and Statement of Work. The stainless steel sphere produced IAW drawing MAT-A-D2064 is approximately 12.75 inches in diameter, weight of 20 lbs. Must meet military specifications of MIL-R-8573, MS533649, MIL-H-6875, QQ-P-35B, and MIL-C-5501 as specified in the drawing.
