Description

Furnish all labor, tools, material, equipment and supervision to install fire sprinklers in Building 14 at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center, Dublin, GA, in accordance with drawings and specifications. Work includes installation of a fully operational wet type fire suppression system in a three story building. Work will require phasing to allow sections of the building to be vacated while work is on-going. The fire suppression system will also need to connect to the existing Simplex-Grinnell 4100 fire alarm system. Solicitation package and drawings will be available for download on or about 8/3/05. No hard copies of the solicitation or drawings will be provided. NAICS Code 238220 with size standard $12.0 million applies. Cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Completion time is 180 days. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the VA. This solicitation is unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
