- This modification takes out the following sentence: Solicitation will be available for download from FedBizOpps on or about July 5, 2005. Modification 2 was inadvertently uploaded incorrectly to FedBizOpps, please ignore. The work consists of producing designs and complete construction documents and providing construction consultation for an addition to the Medford District Office of the Bureau of Land Management at 3040 Biddle Road in Medford Oregon. The work includes developing up to three conceptual designs and producing construction-ready documents (specifications, drawings and cost estimate) for the preferred alternative, to be selected by the government after the conceptual stage of the project is complete. The design phase will include architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, geotechnical, parking lots, walkways, landscaping elements for a 6,000 square foot structure. Contract time is estimated to begin in August 2005 and will continue for an estimated 220 calendar days. Construction phase services include submittal review, advice and interpretation, report writing and potential on site inspections. SELECTION REQUIREMENTS: The response to the Project Specific Qualifications Information (heretofollowing) is the most important selection factor in conjunction with the five (5) selection criteria shown in NOTE 24 each of which are deemed to be of relatively equal importance. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: See note 24 for general submission requirements as amended by the above selection criteria. In addition, Project Specific Qualifications Information demonstrating qualifications for this project shall be provided to include (1) Professional qualifications: Oregon-registered architects and engineers; (2) Specialized experience and proven technical competence designing and remodeling government administrative facilities; (3) Staffing capacity, current workload, and availability to perform the work starting in the summer or fall of 2005; (4) Past performance on contracts with respect to cost control, quality of work, and compliance with the performance schedules; (5) Geographical location, familiarity with, and technical knowledge of local physical conditions affecting building designs; (6) Working knowledge of applicable Federal, State of Oregon, Jackson County, and City of Medford codes, planning procedures, building department regulations, and reviews. Use of SF 330 Part I is optional to provide the Project Specific Qualifications Information. Submit one hard copy of SF 330 Part II and one hard copy of the Project Specific Qualifications Information no later that 4:30 p.m., local time, August 8, 2005 to Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest, attention: Acquisition Section, 333 W. 8th Street, Medford OR 97501; Identify Solicitation No. R6-10-05-101 on submission documents. No written solicitation is available. This is not a request for proposals. Personal visits for discussing this announcement will not be scheduled. Construction is anticipated to be between the range of $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Note: prospective awardee shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) data base prior to award.
