- Description
- Puma Vegetation Management Project will be offered as a Stewardship Contract. The project area is located Southeast of Panguitch Utah within the Dixie National Forest. This project is designed to move the area toward the desired future condition by using Commercial Timber Harvest, Precommercial Thinning and Piling with the connected actions to include road maintenance, lop and scatter, machine piling and erosion control The approximate posting date for the solicitation will be the 2nd of August 2005 with the applicable maps/drawings and attachments to this same website. The closing date for this solicitation will be 23 August 2005, with an approximate project start date to be the end of September 2005. A preproposal meeting to discuss the project in further detail will be held on 10 August 2005 at 10:00 a.m. local time in Panguitch, Utah.
