- CORRECTION: The standard specification for this item is MIL-DTL- 6279M. The specification number below is incorrect. ***NOTE: This notice is NOT a solicitation. The solicitation HAS NOT yet been issued. It will not be issued until after August 3, 2005. Once issued, the solicitation will provide a closing date, 30 days after the issue date.*** RFP SP0100-05-R-0062 is for the purchase of the N3B Parka, NSN 8415-00-375-1661(s). The quantity is for a minimum of 12,890 and a maximum of 36,000 parkas. One 100% option will be included in the solicitation. Six deliveries to New Cumberland, PA and Tracy, CA commencing 210 days after date of award are required. Inspection and Acceptance will be at Origin. This solicitation will be Unrestricted with a 10% HUBZone Price Evaluation Factor. Best Value source selection procedures will be utilized with the following evaluation factors, in descending order of importance: Product Demonstration Model, Experience/Past Performance, Industrial Mobilization, Socioeconomic Proposal, DLA Mentoring Business Agreements Plan, and Javits-Wagner-O?Day Entity Act Support.. Numbered notes 9 and 26 apply. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Important Note on Foreign Content The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as ?The Berry Amendment? impose restrictions on the DoD?s acquisition of foreign products and services.
