- This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for, Security Network Maintenance, in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation/proposal being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N0063905RC001XJ is issued as a request for quotation. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal acquisition Circular 97-17. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business. NAICS CODE: 561621, Size Standard: 500 employees. Item 0001 ( 1 year ) Repair and equipment replacement for closed physical security network that operates the access control/IDA and gate camera systems. Equipment included under this contract are 19 Cisco switches, Two Modem setups, 8 Dell PCs, 1 Laptop and Host Server. Statement of Work: 1) The Security Network is an internal closed network that provides a secure communications source for our access control system and gate camera monitoring system. It is an all fiber network connected with CISCO switches and driven b y a DELL Cluster Node server operated by Microsoft 2000 Professional. The systems main purpose is to drive the Enterprise 650 software provided by American Magnetics to manage our Access Control and Intruder Detection System. 2) The system requirements demand 100% operational capability. The contractor needs to provide, at minimum. 2 hour response time to all trouble calls during normal working hours, 0700- 1700 and 4 hour response time between, 1700 ? 0700 ( 24/7). Contract to include all costs associated with labor and parts repair/replacement. 3) The contractor needs to repair or replace parts for all associated equipment. Current equipment within network: 17 Cisco 3550/24 port switches, 5 CISCO 3550/12 port switches, 17 APC battery backups, 6 Dell computers, 1 Dell Laptop. Also includes any miscellaneous peripheral devices, i.e. cable, phone modems fro guard building connections etc. NOTE: Several of the Dell computers and Dell servers are currently covered by warranty. This warranty expires August 31, 2005. Dell will provide replacement parts for this equipment until the warranty expires. 4) The contractor needs to provide technical support for the Dell security network server. Associated Dell server equipment includes: 2 cluster nodes, 1 primary domain controller, 1 chain client PC, 1 Tape backup and raid controller storage drive, 2 APC battery backups. Associated Software: Microsoft Server 2000, Microsoft 2000 Professional, Microsoft Sequel Server 2000. Must be quoted destination.
