- The Naval Medical Logistics Command (NMLC) has a requirement to provide medical services on a short term basis to Naval Medical Center San Diego, CA, Naval Hospitals Camp Pendleton, CA, Lemoore, CA, 29 Palms, CA, Bremerton, WA, Oak Harbor, WA and their associated Branch Medical Clinics. This 11 month requirement beginning 1 October 2005 is an interim process to bridge current services being provided by Cherokee Medical Services, LLC, CR Associates, Inc., PhyAmerica Government Services, Inc., Saratoga Medical Center, Inc., and Sterling Medical Associates, until the long term contracts can be put in place for a 1 September 2006 start. It is the intent of NMLC to award these interim contracts to the current service contractors on a sole source basis, in order to ensure no lapse in service. All eligible contractors are encouraged to submit proposals for the long-term follow-on contracts that will begin 1 September 2006.
