- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Destination. The following evaluation criteria will be used to evaluate proposal submission: The ability to meet the required delivery date of September 22, 2005 or sooner, and cost. The evaluation criteria are approximately equal in importance. Award of any purchase order resulting from this solicitation will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation will be based on best value to the Government, cost or price and other factors considered. Price will be a factor in the award decision, although the award may not necessarily be made to that offeror submitting the lowest price. The Government reserves the right to make award without further discussion. Quotes may be submitted via e-mail. Quotes shall include the following information: A) Complete list of materials listed above with unit prices, extended totals and grand total; B) Technical Information: (1) The ability to meet the required delivery date of September 22, 2005 or sooner. Include a minimum of three references to document ability to meet delivery schedules on projects of similar scope. Include name of company, contact name and phone #, description and dollar value of project.; (2) Description of country of origin for each item; (3) Completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract on or before July 26, 2005.
