Description

***The existing Presolicitation Notice has been updated/corrected.*** The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Solid Waste Removal and Disposal Services for the Federal Correctional Institution, Fort Dix, New Jersey, located on Hartford Road, Fort Dix, New Jersey. The estimated quantities for the base period and each option period are as follows: 1.) Rental of (6) six each 20 cubic yard open top containers, each emptied approximately once per week. 2.) Rental of (5) five each 8 cubic yard front load containers, each emptied twice per week. 3.) Haul and Empty (2) two each Government owned Marathon RJ-250VL compactors, three pulls per week, per compactor. The contract shall consist of a base year with (4) four (12) twelve month option periods for renewal. The solicitation will be made available on or about July 19, 2005 and will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is August 18, 2005. Contract award is anticipated to be on or about September 7, 2005 with contract performance anticipated to begin October 1, 2005. This will be a full and open competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
