- The USCG ELC anticipates soliciting and negotiating with Beemster Electric, Inc. for technical support services on six (6) 225? WLB Cutters and the purchase of two (2) new cooling fans on the field power supply on the bow and stern DSD 412 Drives on two (2) of these 225? WLB Cutters. It is the Government belief that only Beemster Electric, Inc, 133 N. Broadway, Green Bay, WI 54303 can provide these services. The DC drives were manufactured by Magnetek, and Beemster Electric (who are the US Rep) and Magnetek have a technical relationship that give Beemster access to information that is not available to other firms, plus they have the technical knowledge, corporate relationship and first hand installation experience to provide the crew with the necessary training. Interested parties having the expertise and capabilities are invited to submit detailed information discussing their capabilities regarding these parts within seven (7) days of this announcement. No cost or pricing data is required and this IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The Government does not intend to pay for this information solicited. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate their capabilities to meet the requirement. Pricing shall be based on FOB Destination. The RFQ will be posted in FEDBIZOPPS on or about 7/27/05. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
