- Local Drayage Services at Eielson AFB, AK is being offered as a 100% small business set aside for North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 484210, with a small business size standard of $21,500,000. The contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, equipment, materials, supervision, and tools necessary to perform drayage of government-owned furnishings to/from warehouses, consolidated dormitories (CD), quarters on Eielson AFB, quarters on Fort Wainwright, and quarters off-base. Performance period for resultant services contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will be from 1 Oct 2005 through 30 Sep 2006 with 9 potential option year periods. Issue date for this solicitation is anticipated to be on or about 19 May 2005 with closing date 30 calendar days after issuance, subject to change. This Request for Proposal is a Price Performance Tradeoff (PPT). Under PPT, past performance will be evaluated. The Request for Proposal will be available by electronic transmission only, via the Federal Business Opportunities web site (www.fedbizopps.gov). Potential offerors should register at www.fedbizopps.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. Interested contractors are encouraged to submit their contact information by registering as an interested vendor utilizing the Register as an Interested Vendor button. Please note that this function is separate from the Register to Receive Notification function. No bidders mailing list will be maintained. Offers will be submitted on the Standard Form 1449 and must include, as a minimum, the items listed in FAR Clause 52.212-1 (b) (1-11) Instructions to Offerors—Commercial Items. This clause may be viewed at http://farsite.hill.af.mil. All Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database to be eligible for award.
