- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N62786-05-T-0018 applies. Quotes must be received by 3:00 p.m. on August 05, 2005 to be considered. The RFQ, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-04 and DFARS Change Notice (DCN) 20050621. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 336611 and the business size standard is 1000 employees. This will be a firm-fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Bath, Maine (SOSB) on behalf of Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Portsmout! h, New Hampshire (PNSY) has a requirement to contract for the following. Item 0001: Replacement of YTB-771 Firemain piping in it's entirety; Item 0002: Replacement of AFFF system piping in its entirety; and Item 0003: Hazardous Waste Produced on Naval Vessels. All material is to be contractor furnished. The vessel will be available for on-site inspection by appointment only. All vendors wishing to perform an on-site inspection, must contact HTC(SW) R. Toracinta at (207) 438-2992 to make appointment. All work to be done pierside at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard FOB point Destination. Delivery schedule for this availability is limited and all work must be performed and completed prior to September 30, 2005. It is expected that specific work items/specs will be available on July 13, 2005.
