- WATER TOWER REPAINT & CATHODIC PROTECTION INSPECTION. NAVAL AIR STATION, MERIDIAN, MS THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY. A solicitation notice will be published before invitations are issued. The solicitation number for this announcement is N62467-05-R-5320. This office is soliciting interest and Capability Statements from all qualified and interested parties with a priority on HubZone small business firms-first priority, 8a firms-second priority, and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business-third priority for this solicitation. The Government will use responses to this SOURCES SOUGHT synopsis to make appropriate acquisition decisions to solicit this project as either a competitive HubZone, 8a, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business or Unrestricted. To help the government make this determination, all interested concerns meeting the below requirements should notify this office NLT close of business 25 July 2005, ATTN Lisa Harris, fax (601) 679-2147 or email lisa.harris1@navy.mil. This notification shall include and address the following requirements to enable the government to evaluate the responses and make a determination: 1) Provide proof of SBA certification for either 8a or HubZone status? 2) Are you certified under the NAICS code 238320? 3) List any contract(s) your company has performed or is currently performing that would be considered the same or similar in complexity to the work described. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, tools, supplies, incidental engineering, transportation, equipment and appurtenances necessary for the complete and satisfactory interior and exterior rehabilitation; (paint and sanitize) of one elevated water storage tank. This will include inspection and repair of the supporting structure, tank/standpipe and Cathodic Protection System. The elevated water tank is a Double Ellipsoidal type with a storage capacity of 300,000 gallons. The elevations of the tank are approximately 101 feet to the low water level, 108 feet to the catwalk and 130 feet to the top of the tank. Contractor shall remove all existing primer and paint and dispose of it at an approved off-base site. Contractor shall also ensure that the existing Cathodic Protection System (to include anodes) is maintained in good working order. Contractor shall be limited to 60 days of securing the operation of the water tank. The contract type(s) will be a firm fixed-price. The NAICS for the procurement(s) is 238320, with a size standard of $12 Million. This is not a request for proposals and no solicitation is available at this time. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. After completing its analysis, the Government will determine whether to set procurement aside for HubZone, 8a or Service Disabled Veteran or proceed with full and open competition as Unrestricted. Offers that do not meet requirements or submit within the allotted time will not be considered. The range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00.
