- The U.S. Army, Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command - Picatinny intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis to Purchase a replacement HeCd laser (SVCL-250HPE) from 3D Systems, Inc. specifically designed for use on an SLA-250 Stereolithography Apparatus. Laser has a wavelength of 423nM providing minimum power at the vat of 32mW (23mw at vat at end of life) and warranted for 2500 hours or one year, whichever occurs first. Purchase price is based on an exchange of the old depleted laser and a 5 % discount with free installation of the replacement laser as provided under existing equipment maintenance contract.
