- Local Boiler maintenance upgrade services at Clear AFS, AK is being offered as a 100% small business set aside for North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 811310, with a small business size standard of $6,000.000. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools and transportation necessary to perform modifications of Ingersoll Rand boiler feedwater pumps. This modification would convert the current pumps from a journal bearing/rope packing gland configuration to a ball bearing/ mechanical seal configuration. Issue date for this solicitation is anticipated to be on or about 1 Aug 2005 with closing date 30 calendar days after issuance, subject to change. This Request for Proposal is a Price Performance Tradeoff (PPT). Under PPT, past performance will be evaluated. The Request for Proposal will be available by electronic transmission only, via the Federal Business Opportunities web site (www.fedbizopps.gov). Potential offerors should register at www.fedbizopps.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation.
