- This acquisition will be processed in accordance with Insurance Policy procedures established by AFMC FAR Sup 5317.7590. If a proven source is not the low offeror, the basic qty may be split into First Article qty, for award to the low unproven offeror, and a Minimum Essential Qty (MEQ) for award to the proven source, with the balance of the requirement established as options in both contracts. Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), "Supplies (or services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements and may apply if the low best value offeror is an unproven source. The proven source is BAE, Austin TX (19397). An Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract will be awarded with a basic 18 month period and three 12 month options and one 6 month option. This requirement is for the following: BASIC: NSN:5865-01-411-5278EW, 296 each Magazine; 168 each MEQ Magazine; 4 each first article units Magazine; 54 each FMS Magazine; and a data line item. OPTION 1: Min qty 1 each/Max qty 440 each. OPTION 2: Min qty 1 each/Max qty 436 each. OPTION 3: Min qty 1 each/Max qty 417 each. OPTION 4: Min qty 1 each/Max qty 202 each. All items applicable to the AN/ALE-47/40/45 Countermeasures Dispensing System (CMDS). All potential offerors should contact the PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns. See notes 22 and 26. Note 22 only applies to the MEQ.
