- The government (88 CONS/PKBB) intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(ii). The proposed source is XIA LLC, Newark CA. The NAICS code is 334516 and the size standard is 500 employees. The items being procured are two (2) each Model DGF- 4C Rev E CAMAC Modules for Digital Gamma-Ray Coincidence Spectroscopy. This is a direct replacement of existing modules used in existing XIA manufactured equipment. The XIA DGF-4C provides unique digital pulse processing for measuring both energy and pulse shape. This capability is required for research efforts being conducted at the Air Force Institute of Technology. This notice is being published for information purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotations received within seven (7) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
