- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ F2U0105146A100. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 532111 and the size standard of $21.5 Million sales/year applies to this procurement. The requirement is for rental vehicles for the AETC IG visit (Oct 16th through Nov 2nd). Award will be made for estimate quantities of the following: CLIN 0001, 50 mid-size sedans from 16-20 October. CLIN 0002, 100 mid-size sedans from 21-24 October. CLIN 0003, 75 mid-size sedans from 25 October - 2 November. Please include not only daily but weekly rates for the vehicles. All drivers of the vehicles will be active duty military, and therefore insured under the military umbrella. This requirement is for delivery FOB Origin, and the Transportation Squadron of Luke AFB will pick up all vehicles. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies. Offerors are required to submit a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 Alt 1, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with their quote, which can be found at http://www.farsite.hill.af.mil.
