- Description
- Project calls for Grounds Maintenance Services for Dyess AFB the Contractor must provide all personnel, equipment tools, materials, supervision, equipment maintenance and other items or services necessary to perform Grounds Maintenance. Install Hydroseed and irrigation systems, and perform landscaping services at Dyess AFB. This procurement includes but is not limited to; 1) Mowing and Trimming 2) Irrigation 3) Fertilization 4) Edging 5) Policing Grounds 6) Maintain Decorative Plant Beds 7) Prune Shrubs/Hedges 8) Tree Pruning 9) Shrub/Hedge Removal 10) Tree Removal 11) Policing Debris Related to storm 12) Soil Erosion 13) Silt Removal and Disposition 14) Riparian Restoration Area Mowing 15) Riparian Restoration Area Mesquite Control 16) Install Irrigation System 17) Install Mulch Bedding Area 18) Install Borders 19) Install Pavers. This project is a Firm Fixed Price contract. Unit prices will be taken for the Base Year (year one) and Four Option Years. The Contractor shall assure that all work is accomplished in accordance with this contract and with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Contract will be awarded on ?best value to the government? basis. The two evaluation factors are Past Performance and Price, with Past Performance being more important than price. Therefore the government reserves the right to award the contract to an offeror other than the one proposing the lowest price. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 561730 with a small business size standard of $6M. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% 8A COMPETITIVE SET ASIDE. This solicitation will be posted on or about 18 July 2005, via the Federal Business Opportunities web page at www.eps.gov. A site visit we be held on or about 1 Aug 2005, the exact date, time and location of this site visit will be posted in the solicitation. The site visit will be mandatory, proposals received from companies that did not attend the site visit will be considered non-responsive. No paper copies will be issued. No telephone, facsimile, or written requests will be accepted. You must register on that site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. Once the solicitation is posted it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this website frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. You may need viewers for Microsoft Word (.doc), Microsoft Excel (.xls), Acrobat Reader (.pdf), and/or Source View (.svd) to be able to view solicitation documents. These viewers may be downloaded from the EPS website. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award.
