- Description
- Repair Fire Hydrants Phase 1 at Offutt AFB, Nebraska. Solicitation number FA4600-05-B-0003. The project is for the repair of all of the fire hydrants on the north side of the main base. There are approximately 70 fire hydrants to be repaired and of these approximately 61 will be by replacement to include the hydrant branch valves and installation of cathodic protection. The contractor will restore the ground around the fire hydrants to original conditions. This restoration will include the removal and replacement of pavement in many cases. The expected performance period for this project is approximately 280 calendar days. This solicitation will be issued as a competitive 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. Project magnitude is between $100,000.00 and $500,000.00. Solicitation issue date is on or about (O/A) 8 July 05; bid openings O/A 5 Aug 05. NAISC Code: 238220. Size Standard: $12.0 Million. Interested bidders are reminded that IAW DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registry, they must be registered to be eligible for award. Drawings and specifications are available upon email request. A site visit will be held on 15 July 05 @ 9:00 am CST.
