- (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation FA487705Q0424 is being issued as a request for quotation. (iii) This solicitation incorporates clauses and provisions in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-04. (iv) This requirement is being synopsized as a small business set-aside under standard industrial classification code 3448, NAICS code 332311, small business size standard of 500 employees. (v) CLIN One is for the purchase of the ramada, CLIN Two is for installation and site work for the services listed in vi. (vi) Please propose for the following services: 1. This requirement includes the purchase and installation of a ramada, and construction of a concrete pad. 2. The ramada should be 30? by 30? with a leg height of 10?. The framing must be tubular and the roof panels must be a hip roof design. The entire structure should be tan in color to match the existing ramadas on base. 3. The concrete pad on which the ramada will sit must be 32 ft by 32 ft. It must be 6? thick and have reinforcement where the legs sit. The footings need to be 3? by 3? by 2? thick, each one on center under each leg. A 1? conduit stub-up needs to be placed next to the northwest foot closest to the building. The stub should terminate 4? above the finished pad. The footings and pad must be poured together at the same time. 4. A pre-proposal conference will be conducted at building 4851, Phoenix Street, Davis-Monthan AFB, Tucson, AZ on 19 July 2005 at 10:00 a.m. for the purpose of answering questions and visiting the work site regarding this solicitation. Submit the names of all attendees to Dan Thelen by 3:00 p.m. on 18 July 2005. This information must be provided in advance to ensure access to the base.
