Description
The Upper Red Rock Creek Watershed Site No. 52 project consists of constructing a new floodwater retarding structure with a drainage area of 9.01 square miles in Noble County, Oklahoma. The site is located north and west of Perry, Oklahoma. The dam will be 34.1 feet in height and built of approximately 115,000 cubic yards compacted earthfill. The dam will have a 36-inch reinforced concrete pipe conduit with a concrete inlet structure and a riprap outlet pool. All quantities are estimates. The performance time for this project is 260 calendar days. The Government?s cost estimate is between $500,001 - $1,000,000. This procurement is set aside for small businesses only. The North American Industry Classification Code is 237990. Bid packets will be available on www.fedbizopps.gov on August 1, 2005. A site showing and meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. on August 23, 2005 at the USDA-NRCS Perry Field Office located at 1302 N. Highway 77 in Perry, Oklahoma. Bids may be mailed to USDA NRCS, 100 USDA, Suite 206, Stillwater, OK 74074 or hand-carried to USDA NRCS, 100 USDA, Suite 213, Stillwater, OK 74074. BIDS MUST BE RECEIVED BEFORE 1:00 P.M. ON SEPTEMBER 2, 2005. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. Prospective offerors are responsible for visiting the fedbizopps website to obtain a copy of this solicitation and for checking to obtain any amendments to the solicitation and for changes, additions, or deletions of pertinent information regarding this project. No telephone calls or written requests for this solicitation package will be accepted. Effective immediately, all contractors are required to be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to being awarded a contract by NRCS. The CCR database is the primary Government repository for contractor information required to conduct business with the Federal Government. Please note NRCS cannot award a contract to a firm not registered in CCR. There are 2 steps to register: (1) Obtain a DUNS number by calling Dun and Bradstreet at 1-866-705-7511. (2) Register in CCR. The preferred method for registration is via the World Wide Web at http://www.ccr.gov. The CCR Handbook and a registration template are located at that site, under the tab title CCR Handbook.
