- Description
- This project consists of slurry sealing approximately 5.34 miles of a paved trail and adjoining parking lot. Project includes striping of trail and parking lot. Project is located on the Dixie National Forest on the Red Canyon Bicycle Trail. Project can be accessed from Panguitch, Utah by following US Highway 89 South for approximately 7 miles then East on State Highway 12 for approximately 2 miles to the mouth of Red Canyon. The project has a Government estimate between $25,000 - $100,000. 100% payment bond or Irrevocable letter of credit is required after award. The estimated posting date for the solicitation and applicable drawings/maps will be 29 July 2005 to this same website. There will be a show-me trip for this project tentatively scheduled 9 August 2005 at 9:00 a.m. Those interested in the project will meet at the trailhead site at the mouth of Red Canyon.
