- Description
- The project consists of construction of a campground and highway widening with paved and gravel surfaced roads. The project includes surveying, clearing and grubbing, excavation, grading, installation of drainage culverts, seeding, sign installation, pavement marking, furnishing and placing riprap, aggregate, hot bituminous plant mix, shade ramadas and installation of Government furnished vault toilets. The project is located on the Globe Ranger District of the Tonto National Forest, approximately 24 miles north of Globe Arizona on highway US 60. Driving time is approximately two and one-half hours from Phoenix, Arizona. Solicitation will be available on or about 7/29/2005. Government Estimate is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
