Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with Troux Technologies, Inc., located at 8601 FM 222 Building 3, Suite 300, Austin TX 78730, to obtain the Metis Enterprise Repository software tool suite inclusive of consulting, maintenance, and training. SSA is currently using the Metis Developer licenses, Metis Designer licenses, Metis Data Interface licenses and Metis Team Server license. Troux, Technologies, Inc. is the only known source, which can provide the required software and support. Under the authority provided in Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106-1(b), the Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. This is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Requests for copies of a solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged. The Government does not intend to pay for information received. All interested parties must respond before the closing date of this notice. Written responses must provide clear and concise documentation indicting your firm?s capability to provide the proprietary software and support services. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to SSA-5222-CS. If after July 21, 2005, no viable responses have been received to this announcement, SSA shall negotiate solely with Troux Technologies, Inc. The size limitation for email attachments is five megabytes per individual email message
