- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is H92241-05-Q-0010 and this solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The U.S Special Operations Command has a requirement for 30 each Dehumidifiers. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract is contemplated. Delivery is required within 90 days after receipt of order. Place of delivery will be Cmdr, 160th SOAR (ABN), Bldg 7244 Nightstalker Way, Attn: Al Frye, Ft Campbell, KY 42223-6012. FOB is Destination. Inspection / Acceptance is at Origin by a Government QAR. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-04, Effective 8 July 2005. The associated NAICS code is 336413 and small business standard is 1000 employees. Commercial Items; 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests, and 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) assigned rating is DOA1. The point of contact for this acquisition is Al Elder at (757) 878-5223 Ext: 246. This item will be installed in the On-Hand ISU-90s to ensure that the stored aircraft parts and other consumables are protected from humidity. Specifications for the Dehumidifier: This dehumidifier (and installation kit) must be able to be installed in an ISU 90 (mfg: AAR Cadillac) container. Mounting on wall. Size: not to exceed 21 inches high, 10 inches wide, 15 inches deep. Electrical supply: 120 vac Kit includes all installation hardware. Supplied with extension cord: 25 foot minimum watertite extension cord to plug into 120 vac watertite outlet - receptacle. (mfg: Woodhead) Dehumidifier capabilities: - Electromechanical on/off humidistat. - Front Mount controls. -Minimum process Volume: 55 SCFM - Minimum 1000 watt Reactive heater - 24-hour continuous monitor. - Capable of removing moisture in various climate conditions
