- NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the following Commercial items: Qty Five (5) 200 QCW Conductively Cooled Laser Diode Specifications: 2-bar G-package laser diode array 200 W QCW array consisting of 2 100 Watt QCW laser diode bars Center wavelength - 809 nm +/- nm @25 degrees C heat sink temp (at .8% duty cycle) Duty cycle rating - 2% Spectral Width - 3 nm (FWHM) Bar pitch - 400 microns Operable in vacuum environment Qty. Five (5) 400 QW Conductively Cooled Laser Diode Specifications: 4-Bar G-package laser diode array 400 W QCW array consisting of 4 100 Watt QCW laser diode bars Center wavelength - 809 nm +/- 2 nm @25 degrees C heat sink temp (at .8% duty cycle) Duty cycle rating - 2% Spectral Width - 3nm (FWHM) Bar pitch - 400 microns Operable in vacuum environment Qty. Five (5) 1,100 QCW Conductively Cooled Laser Diode Specifications 11-bar G-package laser diode array 1,100 W QCW array consisting of 100 Watt QCW laser diode bars Center wavelength - 809 nm +/- 2 nm @25 degrees C heat sink temp (at .8% duty cycle) Duty cycle rating - 2% Spectral Width - 3 nm (FWHM) Bar pitch - 400 microns Operable in vacuum environment The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 334413 and 500, respectively. The anticipated release date of RFQ NNG05118374Q is on or about July 13, 2005 with an anticipated quotation due date of on or about August 5, 2005. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
