- This synopsis is a revision of the original synopsis published on June 28, 2005 for N0060405T0595. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Pearl Harbor (FISC PH), intends to procure a Firm Fixed-Price Requirements Contract for the lease, airtime and maintenance of pagers for the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Services, for both leased and government-owned pagers, will include: local (Island of Oahu) numeric coverage, local alpha-numeric coverage, extended local (main islands of Hawaii) coverage, nation-wide (coverage, voice mail, group call, and message entry terminals (METs). The Contractor will supply replacement equipment upon request: pager clips, front pager casing, back cover casing, whole pager casing, digital LED casing, battery cap panel, numeric pager units, alpha-numeric pager units, nationwide pager units, and message entry terminals. In addition, the Contractor shall provide a Service Representative that will be available continuously during regular Government business hours, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm HST, excluding Federal Holidays; this Representativ! e will receive service calls, pick-up and drop-off equipment for end-users, and schedule maintenance and repair services within 24 hours of a service request. Estimated usage quantities, per month: local numeric coverage, 1250; local alpha-numeric coverage, 1750; island-wide (extended) coverage, 50; nation-wide coverage, 25; voice mail, 20; group call, 1000; message entry terminal, 20. The anticipated contract will have a Base Period, 01 October 2005 through 30 September 2006, and Two (2) Twelve-Month Option Periods. This is an unrestricted procurement. Per FAR Clause 52.232-33, Contractors intending to do business with the Government are required to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and provide Electric Funds Transfer information; the CCR website can be accessed at: www.ccr.gov. The solicitation will include FAR Clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. This requirement is being solicited under the guidance of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisiti! on Procedures, and is being issued as a written Request for Quotations (RFQ). A copy of the solicitation may be obtained from the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website, www.neco.navy.mil, on or about 15 July 2005. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The Government intends to award a single contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Contractor whose conforming offer is the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Quotations may be mailed, faxed or emailed and must be received by the Contracting Officer no later than 4:00pm Hawaii Standard Time on 15 August 2005.
