- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City, Florida intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Eagle Industries Unlimited, 400 Biltmore Drive, Fenton, Missouri for the acquisition of Parachutist Individual Equipment Kits (PIEK) components. The items being acquire are: ninety-nine (99) Parachutist Assembly Drop Bags (p/n PDB-SPR-USMC-DA-GR) and ninety-nine (99) lowering lines (p/n PDB-SPR-7LL). The items being acquired has undergone extensive testing and qualification under the MARCORSYSCOM Parachuting Authority. Each part has been tested to perform to rigid requirements as specified in Marine Corps Order (MCO) 3500.20A for Marine Corps Parachuting and Diving Policy and Program Administration. Only those articles, which have been successfully tested, are qualified. The objective of this process is to verify that the system provides acceptable levels of safety and mission critical support throughout the system specific operating range and reasonable assura! nce that the mission can be completed. Only this equipment provided by Eagle Industries Unlimited has been successfully tested and qualified by the U.S. Marine Corps. Delivery is 60 days after placement of order. NAICS is 314911.
