- Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City, intends to solicit Telephonics Corporation Command Systems Division, 815 Broad Hollow Road, Farmingdale, NY 11735-3904 on a sole source basis for one each Advanced Radar Surveillance System (ARSS-1). The ARSS-1 Ground Based Radar is currently fielded and deployed among the Navy Explosive Ordnance Commands worldwide. As there is an established training and support infrastructure for this radar, EODTECHDIV Indian Head, MD the Advanced Concept Technology Demonstration (ACTD) lead has designated the ARSS-1 as the primary threat detection and tracking sensor for this ACTD. Through the use of the ARSS-1, compatibility with currently fielded systems is assured. Additionally, Telephonics Corporations is the only company that can meet the delivery requirements for the Ground Based Radar within the compressed schedule. The company is prepared to deliver the product within one week of contract award. Delivery will be the Naval Support ! Activity - Panama City, Receiving Officer, Building 100, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407-7018. NAICS Code 334511 applies. SBA Size Standard is 750 employees. FSC is 5840.
