- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City intends to issue a sole source Purchase Order to Cochran Consulting Incorporated for configuration changes to the Navy Dive Computer (NDC). NAVSEA 00C has added the NDC to the approved for Navy Use (ANU) list for Diver Equipment. The NDC is a multifunction Dive Computer that calculates Diver decompression schedules and keeps track of dive depth, time, etc. It is life support equipment. It is the only Dive Computer on the ANU list. Cochran Consulting is the only manufacturer of the NDC. Cochran maintains control of the internal code of the NDC and is the only company that is able to make configuration changes to the Code. As such they are the sole source for configuration changes on the NDC. The anticipated award date will be on or about August 13, 2005. Delivery will be to the Naval Support Activity - Panama City, Receiving Officer, Building 100, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407-7018. NAICS Code 334111 applies! .
