- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting synopses and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. This proposed procurement is for the following items: MK 93 Mod 4 Gun-Mount, MK 82 Mod 2 Gun-Mount, MK 95 Mod 1 Gun-Mount, MK 97 Mod 0 Gun-Mount, MK 123 Ground Tripod, MK 125 Ground Tripod, MK 16 Mod 8 Stand, MK 16 Mod 9 Tripod Assy, MK 175 Adapter, MK 105 Gun-Mount, GAU-21 Adapter, M240 Adapter, Ammunition Rack Assy, Train & Elevation Mechanism, MK 93 Trigger Housing, GAU-21 Adapter, M240 Adapter, Ammunition Rack Assy. The aforementioned items will be referred to as Multiple Gun-Mounts. This synopsis and the follow-on solicitation will be a 100 % small business set-aside. The items shall be manufactured In accordance with Government drawing packages. The drawing packages will be included in the solicitation when issued. Standard Commercial Packaging will be required for the Multiple Gun-Mounts (MK 93 Mod 4 Gun-Mount has a drawing in regards to packaging requirements). Solicitation N00164-05-R-4859 will potentially result in the award of multiple, Indefinite Delivery,Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract(s). In regards to the contract award(s), the awardees will receive a minimum amount of $25K (individually) for the Multiple Gun-Mounts. Contract awardees will be based on the determination of ?best value? on one (1) or more of the CLINs. The minimum ordering threshold for any one (1)-delivery order will be $25K. The vendors that are determined to be ?best value? on one or more of the CLINs will receive contract award and will have an opportunity to compete on follow-on delivery orders issued on the five-year multiple award IDIQ type contract(s). The maximum ordering threshold for any one order will be $2.5M. The total dollar amount for this procurement is $29.9M. Delivery of the minimum quantity is required to begin within 60 days after contract award, and shall be FOB destination. The anticipated delivery location is NAVSURFWARCENDIV Crane, IN. Inspection and acceptance shall also be at destination. To be eligible for award! , contractors must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on CCR registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet @ www.ccr.gov. If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes / amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
