- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following items: 1 each FID FPG 40-1PM1 High Voltage Pulse Generator (HVPG) 3 meters of cable with mating connector to the HVPG on one side, opposite gender on the other side 1) Spare connectors, 3 of each gender 2) 4 meters of spare cable 3) User Documentation The FPG40-1PM1 is a 40 Kilo-volt, 1 ns pulse generator. Its' intended use is to study the effects of high voltage as it is applied on various systems. It will be utilized on many projects on the Directed Energy (DE) Program located at China Lake. Amplitude into a 50 Ohm load - 40 kV Rise time - 150-200 ps Pulse width at 50% of amplitude - 1 ns Maximum PRF - 1 kHz Triggering - internal and external 5V, 100 ns Input power - AC 110 V Size - approximately - 400x400x150 mm Solid State technology This requirement is sole sourced to Moose Hill Enterprises, based on performance requirements. Any firms believing that they can provide the High Voltage Pulse Generator, may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the data without causing programmatic hardship.
