- CONTACT: Melissa V. Lucas REQ #05-2313-HB0001 The U.S Geological Survey, BRD, Hammond Bay Biological Station, Millersburg, MI has a requirement to replace all the old single pane windows and installation of new energy efficient vinyl windows with E glass and aluminum screens. All windows must be ENERGY STAR QUALIFIED. To be eligible for the ENERGY STAR, products must be rated, certified, and labeled for both U-factor and Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) in accordance with the procedures of the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC). Vendor must specify the warranty for the vinyl cladding. Award will be based upon price, Energy Star rating and warranty. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 327215. Responses are due 07/28/2005. The anticipated award date is 08/03/2005. This award will be made under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures Threshold of 100,000.00.
