Description: The intent of this solicitation is to evaluate and award four regionalized construction contracts to repair failed or failing roofs in the USARC roofing inventory and for emergency roof repairs. Each contract will consist of one base year with four one-year options. The expected usage of this contract is 40 actions per year for each of the regions. The four regions are the Northeast, the South, the Midwast and West. The solicitation will provide the States, square footage, number of buildings and number of facilities (locations) under each region. A facility may be one building but usually encompasses several buildings. This contract will cover the lower 48 states and Puerto Rico and does not include leased facilities. Estimated Construction valu e of each contract is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. A best value evaluation will be conducted using the following evaluation criteria, which is listed in descending order of importance: 1) Past Experience; 2) Past Performance; 3) Key Personnel and 4) Technica l Approach. Proposals are due on August 29, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. Louisville Local time. Plans and specifications will be available on or about July 27, 2005 and can be obtained by downloading from the web.
