- The Detroit District intends to issue a sole source contract to National Oil Well for installation of new controls on Amhoist Model 142-2D, a 42 ton derrick crane. The solicitation is issued in accordance with US Army Corps of Engineers Safety and He alth Requirements Manual EM 385-1-1 dated 3 November 2003. The safety manual requires maintenance and repairs to be conducted in accordance with the manufacturer's precautions and procedures. Replacement parts for load bearing or critical components shall be either obtained from or certified by the equipment. manufacturer.
