- CONTACT Stanley Chan, Electronics Engineer, (732) 532-1862. This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for spares for the Satellite Communication System, AN/TSC-156 Phoenix Block II Terminal. Phoenix is a transportable multi-band, multi-cha nnel Tactical Satellite (TACSAT) terminal that operates in the C, X, Ku and Ka bands over commercial and military satellites. It provides high-capacity range extension at selected Echelons Above Corps and Corps signal units. Phoenix provides a highly mobil e, strategically transportable, wide band communications capability, and will replace selected AN/TSC-85/93 TACSAT terminals. The Government intends to award a one-year Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract, with four (4) one-year options, for these spares. They are as follows: NSN: To Be Assigned (TBA), Converter Frequency Electronic (Down Converter); NSN: TBA, Converter Frequency Electronic (Up Converter); NSN: TBA, Fuse; NSN: TBA, Switch, Waveguide (Ka-Band WR- 34); NSN: TBA, Switch, Waveguide (Ka-Band WR-28); NSN: TBA, High Power Amplifier (HPA)-Ka Band; NSN: TBA, Multiplexer (ETSSP or HUBMUX); NSN: TBA, Panel, Patch (ETSSP/MUX); NSN: TBA, Patch, Pane-Type Interface Module (Fiber Optic); NSN: TBA, Modem, Satelli te Data Communication; NSN: TBA, Battery; NSN: TBA, Ka-Band Subreflector; NSN: TBA, Antenna Subassembly (Ka-Band); NSN: TBA, Amplifier Radio Frequency (LNA-Ka-Band); NSN: TBA, Feed Window Kit (Vx P/NF005103); NSN: TBA, Panel Assembly, Rear (CDI User 1-3 Si gnal Entry); NSN: TBA, Fiber Optic Modem (FOM); NSN: TBA, Fiber Optic Modem (FOM); NSN: TBA, Filter Assembly; NSN: TBA, Dehydrator Assembly; NSN: TBA, Time Delay Relay, Electromagnetic (Vde/0435) (TDR2,3,4); NSN: TBA, Contactor; NSN: TBA, Inductor; NSN: TB A, Switch Box, HPA Power Assembly; NSN: TBA, Simulator, Satellite(Satellite Test Translator); NSN: TBA, Flexible Waveguide (KA Flexible Waveguide WR 34). The current source for these components are L-3 Communications Corporation Div Communication Systems- West, Cage 06401. The spares identified above are only defined by L-3 Communications part numbers and National Stock Numbers (TBA). Detailed technical data (drawings or specifications) for the manufacture or acceptance of these units are not available fro m the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing these units must so indicate, in writing to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-COM-T-TM, Building 1202W, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5000. Response via electronic media using Microsoft Office 2000 products (i.e., Mic rosoft Word and Excel), and Adobe Acrobat (Portable Document Format) is acceptable. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source dem onstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with a unit that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the existing AN/TSC-156 System and its components from the previous supplier. Successful supplier may be required to warra nt that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
