- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the Bollards/Turnstiles and Sidewalk Renovation at Griffiss Park, Rome, NY. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR Part 13. It was prepared in accordance with the format found in FAR 12.603; streamlined procedures for evaluation and solicitation for commercial items. Although a written solicitation will not be issued for this project, this synopsis is supplemented by information found in the following Website: http://www.dmna.state.ny.us/uspfo-ny/projects/bollards.htm as well as an on-line drawing and proposal worksheet, which will be provided by the undersigned upon request. The applicable provisions and clauses for this project are those f ound in the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-13. The following provisions and clauses apply: FAR 52.204-8; 52.212-1; 52.212-2; 52.212-3; 52.212-5, 52.212-5 (Deviation); 52.215-5; 52.222-3; 52.222-6; 52.222-21; 52.222-22; 52.222-26; 52.222-35; 52.22 2-37; 52.225-1; 52.228-5; 52.232-33; 52.233-3; 52.247-4; 52.252-2; 52.252-6; 52.253-1; and DFARS 252-204-7004 Alt A; 252-212-7000 and 252-215-7001. A site visit for this project is scheduled for July 19, 2005 @ 9:00 EST (See Statement of Work (SOW) for co ntact point and #). The Government will award a contract to the responsible contractor, whose proposal conforms to the SOW and whose price is the most advantageous to the Government. Contractors shall submit 1 copy of the proposal, via e-mail, fax (@ (51 8) 786-4985) or mail to kathy.reilly@ny.ngb.army.mil, at the USPFO-NY, ATTN: MNPF-PC, 330 Old Niskayuna Rd., Latham, NY 12110, not later than July 26, 2005, 3:00 P.M. EST. The proposal must include the price (provided on the proposal worksheet) and a copy of the completed FAR Provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (If not completed via www.ORCA.gov). Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is also mandatory for award consideration. This solicitation is set aside for small business. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is for this procurement is 238990, with a small business size standard of $12 million.
