- Request rental of two Caterpillar D8 Dozers or equivalent at Eielson AFB, Alaska is being offered for North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 532490, with a small business size standard of $6,000,000. Dozers will be used for dirt work projects throughout Eielson AFB. Dozers must be 2001 or newer. Performance period for rental contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will be for two months, starting 22 July 2005. Issue date for this solicitation is anticipated to be on or about 14 July 2005 with closing date 5 calendar days after issuance. The Request for Proposal will be available by electronic transmission only, via the Federal Business Opportunities web site (www.fedbizopps.gov). Potential offerors should register at www.fedbizopps.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. Interested contractors are encouraged to submit their contact information by registering as an interested vendor utilizing the Register as an Interested Vendor button.
