- : This is a Notification of Contract Action (NOCA) for an upcoming acquisition. The Navstar GPS Joint Program Office intends to issue a contract for PRODUCTION MAGR 2000 RECEIVERS (IF and RF), PRODUCTION MAGR 2000 RECEIVERS ( IF and RF) FOREIGN MILITARY SALES (FMS), MAGR 2000/MAGR 2000-S MOUNTS ISOLATED AND UNISOLATED, MAGR 2000/MAGR 2000-S MOUNTS ISOLATED AND UNISOLATED FMS, QUICK REACTION SUPPORT, ENGINEERING ANALYSES, RESERVED SPARES STORAGE AND REPAIRS - DOMESTIC, RESERVED SPARES STORAGE AND REPAIRS ? FMS, DEMILITARIZATION AND DISPOSAL, PRODUCTION MAGR 2000-S RECEIVERS (RF), PRODUCTION MAGR 2000 RECEIVERS (RF) - UPGRADE, PRODUCTION MAGR 2000 RECEIVERS (RF) - UPGRADE FMS, PRODUCTION MAGR 200-S RECEIVERS (RF) FMS, PRODUCTION SAASM-BASED GRAM (SBG) (RF), PRODUCTION SAASM-BASED GRAM (SBG) (RF) ? Y STUDY, RESERVED UPGRADE - ENHANCED DIRECT - Y MAGR 2000-S, UPGRADE - PPS CERTIFICATION (MSO-C145) MAGR 2000-S, RESERVED PPS CERTIFICATION (MCE-C153) SBG, RESERVED UPGRADE - FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION (FAA) CERTIFICATION PLAN (TSO-C129a) MAGR 2000-S, RESERVED UPGRADE FAA CERTIFICATION IMPLEMENTATION MAGR 2000-S, RESERVED ? MODERNIZATION USER EQUIPMENT (MUE) TECHNICAL SUPPORT, PRODUCTION IMPLEMENTATION - MAGR 2000-S, and PROGRAM MANAGEMENT SUPPORT. The MAGR 2000/MAGR 2000-S is a GRAM-based Line Replaceable Unit (LRU). Two versions of the MAGR 2000 will be procured under this contract including a PPSSM-based GRAM version and SAASM-based GRAM version. The MAGR 2000 PPSSM-based GRAM version shall comply with CI-MAGR 400A and CI-GRAM-400 and shall comply with the latest production configuration being fielded. The MAGR 2000 SAASM-based GRAM version shall comply with CI-MAGR-500 AND CI-GRAM-500. Stand-alone SAASM-based GRAM LRUs shall be a final deliverable and procured separately under this contract. Delivery of the SAASM-based GRAM LRUs is projected for FY05 through FY2010. Ordering shall began in 1QGFY05 and continue through December 2010. The LRUs must be qualified to the current standards and specifications prior to delivery. Raytheon shall also provide engineering technical support to the MUE card vendor or vendors to facilitate successful integration of the MUE receiver card into the MAGR 2000 LRU. Intended source is Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems Company, El Segundo, CA. Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems Company is the sole manufacturer of MAGR 2000/2000-Ss and is the only known company capable of providing the PPSSM and SAASM-based GRAM (integrated into a) MAGR 2000 production requirement within the specified time period. Interested parties are invited to submit a Statement of Capabilities (SOC), which includes the following information: a technical description of the PPSSM and SAASM-based GRAM, MAGR 2000 sufficient for a government evaluation of the system and a statement detailing the technical expertise for supporting MUE receiver card integration into the MAGR 2000 LRU. Interested offerors must submit SOCs, which clearly show they are qualified to perform this effort.
