- 21 CONS/LGCBB intends to make an award under FAR Part 12, Commercial Items, to ManTech Aegis Research Corp. Under this proposed action, 21 CONS/LGCBB will procure the classroom training on Information Systems Security policy and implementation for Information Systems Security Officers (ISSO) providing support to computer systems processing intelligence and special programs information. The contractor shell offer two courses: Fundamental and Advanced. The Fundamental course consists of the development of policy and documentation leading to the certification and accreditation of computer systems processing intelligence and special programs to include student hand-outs, textbooks, and instruction. The Advanced course consists of hands-on application of the material covered in the Fundamental course to include hand-outs, textbooks, and laboratory training. The course shall accommodate up to 14 students. The NAICS for this requirement is 541519. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals received by 2:00 P.M. Mountain Time on 21 July 2005 will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
