Description

NON-PERSONAL SERVICES to furnish all labor, equipment, materials, parts facilities, transportation, hardware, software, and documentation components and any incidentals necessary to perform services required to perform preventive and Remedial Maintenance support services for Government owned Micro-Vehicles in accordance with the manufacturers specifications and the statement of work. The period of performance is 1 OCT 05 ? 30 Sep 06. The government is contemplating awarding a time and materials contract. This is a 100% small business set aside and only offerors from small business concerns will be accepted. Contractors shall have training to maintain and repair micro (low speed) vehicles and shall provide certificate of training with their proposal. The estimated award date is no later than 20 AUG 05. Central Contractor Registration is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. Contractors shall have completed annual representations and certification electronically via the ORCA website at http://orca.bpn.gov. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
