- MODIFICATION: The purpose of this modification is to extend the response date to August 12, 2005. Sources Sought Notice: The U.S. Department of State's Overseas Buildings, Operations Furniture and Furnishings Program (OBO/PE/IF/PMB) is seeking sources experienced in the oversight, packing and installation of Knoll furniture systems and workstations in overseas remote locations (specifically Africa, Asia, and the Middle East). Sources must be expert with project review, pre-installation site visits, overseas transportation, installation, reconfiguration, quality control, and writing project execution plans, trip agendas, and reports. Offeror must be willing to propose on all worldwide locations including those in hostile and austere environments. Respondents must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret facility clearance (FCL), issued in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DOD 5220.22-M prior to contract performance. The contractor must be organized and existing under the laws of any of the fifty states, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico, and be located in the U.S. and its territorial areas or possessions. In addition to this, each contractor employee requiring such assess must have an individual security clearance commensurate with the required level of access prior to contract performance.
