- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC)05-04. This solicitation is being issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ) # 079075. This solicitation is under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Standard Industrial Classification is 7699, and the Business Size Standard is $6.0 million. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price - One Time Buy contract. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302, with Systems Upgrade, Inc., 23490 Berry Road, Sky Valley, CA 92241. Systems Upgrade, Inc. has configured and maintained the current equipment solution. System Upgrade, Inc. is the only Konica Minolta Business Solutions authorized VAR marketing the Konica Minolta Force printer products and service (including the Force 60) into the Washington DC Area and to Federal agencies throughout the country. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit bids. All bids received within (15) days after the date of this publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The requirement consists of (5) annual maintenance/service agreements to include: drum, toner and developer with an annual print volume coverage of 2.5 million images for the Konica Force 60 model. This requirement will be awarded on an ?All or None? basis. Delivery shall be 30 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination FBI, 2400 Schuster Drive, Cheverly, MD 20781--All Bids shall be submitted electronically to rheckman_fbi@comcast.net or faxed to 202-324-3104, no later 2:30pm EST, July 15, 2005, and be clearly marked with RFQ# 079075. Any bid that is not received by the date\time and at the location specified in this announcement will be considered late.
