- Description
- The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to NEC Solutions (America), Inc., located at: 10850 Gold Point Road, Suite #200, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670 for the acquisition ?NEC Latent Fingerprint Workstation (FW-L)?. NEC Latent Fingerprint Workstation shall consist of the following equipment in the quantity of one (1) for each of the components: (1) Hardware DELL Optiplex GX280, P-4 (3.6 GHKz), 2GB Memory, 80GB HDD, Windows 2000 Professional 20? NEC Flat Panel Monitor; (2) SONY CCD Camera with Accessories and FlashBus MV Lite PCI Card; (3) Application Software; (4) Printer; (5) System-Integration/Installation/Familiarization/Documentation/shipping. The proposed purchase order is for equipment/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with NEC Solutions (America), Inc under authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been justified, certified and approved for NEC Solutions (America), Inc. The NAICS Code is 334119, ? Other Computer Peripheral Manufacturing? and the Size Standard is 1,000. The Government anticipates the award on a firm-fixed price purchase order. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement. All respondents will be considered by this agency. All communication concerning this announcement must be in writing and received by 3:00 P.M. Eastern Time, no later than 7 calendar days after the publication date of this notice to the contract specialist listed below. No solicitation is available. Closing date is July 27, 2005.
