Description

INDIAN SOURCES SOUGHT. This notice is to determine the availability of Indian-owned architect-engineer firms for design services and construction contract support services to construct 25 housing units and related site development at government owned or leased locations on the Indian reservation at Fort Belknap, Montana. Prospective building sites are a combination of developed and undeveloped sites. The estimated cost of construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. If responses to this notice and other information indicate that competition restricted to Indian owned firms is practicable, the acquisition of design services will be set aside for 51 percent Indian-owned firms. Under a Buy Indian set aside, no more than 50 percent of the work to be performed may be subcontracted to other than Indian firms. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATION STATEMENTS - A separate request for Standard Form 330 qualification statements will be published after the set aside determination is made. Please respond to this notice by July 22, 2005, with a brief statement of the degree of Indian ownership of your firm, your experience, and your capacity to meet the subcontracting restrictions of a Buy Indian set aside.
