Description

The scope of the contract will be for reconditioning approximately 11,000 ft. of a 12 foot wide road surface (finished grade with gravel surface) to prepare it for gravel surfacing. The contractor shall haul and place approximately 5567 tons of gravel. Work shall include constructing turnouts and removal/replacement of 2 culverts as shown in the drawings. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $100,000 and $250,000 PROJECT LOCATION:Oglala National Grassland of the Pine Ridge Ranger District at Chadron, Nebraska. The site is approximately seventeen (17) miles north Crawford on State Highways 2 and 71. The project will be in Sections 13 and 24, T.34N., R.53W., Sioux County. It will start approximately 3 miles west of Highways 2 and 71 on Sugarloaf Road #900. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS:The solicitation, AG-82X9-S-05-0039, and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as an Invitation For Bid (IFB) and will be available for downloading on or about July 28, 2005 at the website address http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. A Pre-Bid Visit date will be included in the solicitation. All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) prior to award of a Federal contract. Registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov/. A handbook and other information are available at the site, including information on how to obtain a DUNS number, which is required to begin the registration process. Vendors are required to register at the Online Representations and Certifications website (ORCA); registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.bpn.gov.
