Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number N68836-05-T-0129 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the lastest edition of the Federal Acquisition Circular. This solicitation is issued on an set-a-side basis, the USS Gettysburg requires the following: THE FOLLOWING IS USS GETTYSBURG'S SCOPE OF WORK FOR CONTRACT SERVICES: Point of contact CSCS Jennifer Littles/CS1 Eric Bass 904-270-7900; if you wish to schedule an on-site for Friday July 08, please contact one of the above or the contracting officer listed in this notice; 1. Crew's Mess: McDonald chairs a. Remove 40 each McDonald style swivel chairs to contractor's facility. b. Provide material and labor to powder coat each. c. Reinstall onboard ship. 2. Crew's mess: Bulkheads a. Remove exiting existing wall covering (approximately 142 linear feet). b. Prep bulkheads c. Provide material and labor to install type IV high pressure plastic lamiminate. d. Trim paint surfaces not able to accept laminate. e. Manufacture and install approximately 142 linear feet of laminated channel chair rail. 3. Crew's mess: Fruit bar a. Remove existing HPPL and replace with new. b. Remove sneeze shield and bracket to contractor's facility. c. Polish sneeze shield bracket and seal. d. Replace broken smoked sneeze shield. e. Reinstall. 4. Crew’s mess: Salad bar a. Remove existing HPPL and replace with new. b. Remove sneeze shield and bracket to contractor's facility for disposal. c. Manufacture and install 1 each 2-tier brass framed dessert/sneeze shelving, polish brackets and seal. 5. Crew's mess: Salad bar awning a. Provide labor and material to replace approximately 22 linear feet of awning. 6. Crew's mess: Toaster bar a. Provide material and labor to replace existing HPPL. b. Manufacture and install. 1. 1 each HPPL covered aluminum counter top cap with applicable equipment stands. 2. 1 each HPPL covered aluminum tray slide cap that allows existing to fold. 7. Crew's mess: TV cabinet. a. Manufacture and install 1 each flat screen TV enclosure with suspended VCR/DVD cabinet. 8. Crew's Mess: Beverage line Awning a. Provide labor and material to replace approximately 24 linear feet of awning. 9. Crew's Mess: Beverage line cabinet doors a. Remove laminated doors to contractor's facility. b. Provide labor to remove existing laminate and prep surfaces. c. Provide material and labor to apply new HPPL. d. Reinstall onboard ship. 10. Crew's mess: Serving line awning a. Provide labor and material to replace approximately 25 linear feet of awning. 11. Wardroom mess: Chair covers a. Manufacture and install 35 each vinyl chair covers. b. Covers to have ship's silk screened on outside back. 12. CPO Mess: Table covers a. Manufacture and install 2 each silk screened vinyl table covers. b. Silk screening to be of chief's anchors and enlisted surface warfare pin. 13. CPO mess: Chair covers a. Manufacture and install 22 each vinyl chair covers. b. Silk screen to be of chiefs anchors. 14. CPO mess: Lounge table cover a. Manufacture and install 1 each 30" diameter table cover with chief's anchors silk screened in center. 15. CPO Mess: Lounge seating a. Remove to contractor’s facilities b. 1 each 3 man sofa, similar to SFC# B-3A-1A c. 1 each 2 man sofa, similar to SFC # B-3A-1B d. 1 each “L” shaped corner sofa similar to SFC # B-3A-12. approx 186” linear inches e.Remove existing fabric f. Provide and install new shipboard approved fabric g.
